They fixed nearly everything timethesimmer@gmail.com complained about in about a day or less. Great response to feedback. This website is quite good and small improvements could take it further, if the team wants to work on it after spring that is.
I like the colors and the site is very smooth but something about it makes it seem very static, maybe the font used. Very cool site otherwise
The website has a lot to offer. I like the community tab and the list of discords. It is a bit laggy on the tab changes though.
The website has a really strong concept and I can tell a lot of effort was put into making it useful for UH students. The game library is extensive, and the find players section is especially well designed with clear labels for games, ranks, and statuses. There are still a few small issues with spacing and profile editing bugs, but the fixes seem to be coming out quickly and it’s clear the team is actively improving the site. Overall, the platform feels well thought out and has a lot of potential as a place for students to connect.
To those entrusted with the crafting of this digital forum, It hath come to my notice that the structure of thy site is, in certain places, set forth without proper proportion, most notably upon the principal page. The buttons, which ought to stand in orderly alignment, are instead unevenly placed, lacking harmony along their vertical course. Moreover, the mending of faults is done without proclamation, and in their correction do arise further disorders. Even now, within the settings of one’s profile, there are grievous impediments: the name may not be amended, nor one’s interests, nor the description of self. I am persuaded that this affliction proceedeth from recent alterations made within the “Write a Review” section, for it manifesteth as the error called “Profile Not Found.” In many pages is seen a redundancy of headings, where a title is first proclaimed, and then repeated within a central enclosure, as in the place of writing a review. This duplication bringeth confusion to the eye and mind alike. Upon the main page, the divisions of lines were until recently ill-placed—though I note this hath been corrected in swift manner. Indeed, thy labors to remedy faults appear frequent and diligent. Notwithstanding these grievances, the foundation of thy work is commendable. For it is evident that many students of the University of Hawai‘i do seek a means of fellowship beyond the common channels, and this platform may well serve that desire. The library of games is broad and speaks to no small measure of toil. Likewise, the page for finding companions is devised with care, bearing clear markings of each person’s game, rank, and present state. It is also worthy of note that the trials of this system proceed with prudence; for the prevention of excessive and empty line-making within reviews showeth foresight in design. Yet a small imperfection remaineth: the spacing along the horizontal line betwixt the “Report Player” and “Profile” is set somewhat amiss. Thus do I set forth these observations, in hope of refinement and greater excellence. Written in earnest regard, A most ardent admirer of Faketon
The website is scaled improperly in some parts such as the home page. I don't like how the buttons are at different y levels. Bug fixes are unannounced and break a few things. Just now, the profile settings are subjected to the following errors: being unable to edit username, interests, and a description. I'm quite sure this is because of a change in the write a review section. This shows up as a "Profile Not Found" error. Under most pages, you will find a heading and then a central box with the same heading, ex, in this write a review page it has the words write a review on the top left and then another box with write a review. This looks kind of confusing. In the home page the line breaks are improperly used. (The team fixed this like 1 hr ago nvm). However, the bug fixes are coming quickly. The website has a good premise since I'm sure a lot of UH students desire a means to connect without using the current methods. The game library is quite extensive as well and obviously had a lot of hard work put into it. The find players tab is a well thought out page with good labelers on people who request to connect such as their game, rank, status, etc. Something to note as well is that the testing seems to be going out quite well. The previous person who tested the review likely thought of a person who would spam lines and space, so they just removed the ability to add a line. Well done! Also the x-axis spacing between report player and profile seem to be slightly off 1777960629210-0.21267 Sincerely, Peyton Young's biggest fan
